disagree if you will but saying 1 LSU QB is better than another is certainly not negative

Nah. I'm just tired of arguing with people who thrive to argue on forums that the backup QB should always start.

This smells just like JR from a several years back. One half of football against a miserable team means little to nothing.

nope, I've never argued that Lee should have started over Jefferson.

nope, JR was one of the best college QBs his last year here IMO. Never would have argued that Flynn should have started over him

I was surprised that Flynn was the clear cut starter over RP, but after the SC game of 07 I was fine with Flynn being the starter

I was talking about when JR started over MR.

so even in 07' you were mentally challenged? A QB that came in and threw the ball NEVER was better than the 5th year senior leading the team? It took until USC to be "ok" with Flynn? You are a piece of work.

nope to this day I think one of Sabans biggest mistakes was taking MR out for JR after Randall drove us down for a opening drive TD against Auburn in 05

ETA thought u were going to bed>?

ETA2 I meant 04 not 05

I thought RP was more talented I'll contend that it based on physical tools alone that it was not a terrible thought. RP did win the SECCG for us.

with the help of a lucky INT to get the go ahead TD, no he didn't "win" the game for us. He played well enough to win it (sounds like what JL is doing for us huh?) but he did not win the game by any stretch.

ETA:I went back to look and I did not give RP enough credit for that game in retrospect,, he still needed the bail out int vs a mediocre Tenn team. I still think it is a stretch to say he should have started as a soph. over the 5th year senior with the ability and experience.

Damn shame he never realized his potential though.
