No. Reed IMO is a slot reciever, LSU doesn't utilize this very well.
Well said Roger, We need Hieght and speed.

A playmaker like Reed would be a better fit than a 6'3" player like Lafell.
good thing we dont have a guy like Chris Tolliver, Jhyryn Taylor etc...

Part of the problem is people think Chris Tolliver is a slot WR just bc he is small. Tolliver doesn't have near the shiftiness of Reed, or running ability.
Tolliver is an outside speed WR, not a playmaking slot WR. Never was. He's much more like Marquis Maze of Bama than Reed, and Maze never plays slot.
And J Taylor wasn't close to the player in HS that Reed is.

Why should Reed be our top priority? Cause he's the highest rated.. this philosophy isnt what LSU coaches need..I dont see where this guy fits into the LSU Scheme..Unless, LSU goes to a pure spread offense..Till then, he doesnt fit what LSU wants to do..Id take Thomas (evangel)Wright(belle chasse) even Gavin Webster (Lutcher) before him...Especially if offense stays this way

LSU runs 4 WR sets than most teams in the country. That isn't the spread?
