we have to get Ridley on the field...if it's at fullback over a true freshman I think that makes sense! Our offense could be sick...40+ points a game is probably going to be expected?

Maybe. I'm not positive, but Allen appears to be a bigger blocking-type fullback. Ridley is the next CS IMO.
I think 2010 will be the year of Ridley!

Michael Ford will probably be RB in 2010!

Is Michael Ford locked up
Is that a serious question?

The Tigers are deep at tailback, if not fullback. Until defenses began exploiting the Tigers’ weakness under center, and stacked the box to stop Scott, the 5’11”, 233 pound RB was on pace to average more than 100 yards a game. The knock on Scott at the next level is his speed. While that’s unlikely to improve with another year in Baton Rouge, he’ll get more time to showcase his underrated blocking skills – both in pass coverage and as a fullback. While his return is helpful, the Tigers have an abundance of riches at this position. Behind Scott waits Keiland Williams, Richard Murphy, Trindon Holliday, and Stevan Ridley… All of whom could start on most FBS teams. After passing on RBs in last year’s class, the Tiger’s restock this year, including star commitment Michael Ford from Leesville, LA.

CS to FB doesn't seem like a bad idea. Both CS and KW can be utilized at the same time and CS has the build to run/pass block. From what we have seen, Les has no problem using the FB as the primary back also.

Unless he beats Scott out?

I think Ridley will be up there since Miles and co. love the big back.
Why do ya see Ridley as such a great RB in the future, I've never seen him do anything special as a RB...His HS stats are very impressive but he played in the MPSA for God's sake...He had a good spring practice but so did RM and we all saw how much he saw the field, with CS, KW, RM, MF, and DP, plus the possibility of Seastrunk next yar, I dont see SR playing much as an RB while he wearing P&G

You must have missed the Tulane game.

I agree and to the punk who said he hasn't seen anything, yes you must not go to the games. He tore shite up against Tulane when no other back was.
It's time for RM to be the next Josh Reed. Someone call Les

I want the best back to play. And who is to say that it won't be ford?? I have seen many a freshman tear it up thier first year at running back.

ridley. he may be the best back on the team

The TB position is my interest and I'm a big Ridley fan. All's coming back at TB and we will see much of the same. Alot of CS little of the rest, with Murphy the unwanted orphan. KW is ok, not great, Murphy talented but not showing it on the field and #34, not given a chance to show if he is good or bad. In all likelyhood Pratt and Ford will be backup special team players and be redshirted, unless an injury. My opinion about Ridley is he is a quicker version of Scott with better hands and attacks tacklers to mishit him. Look at the game and spring films. Ford will not be given a chance to play this year with LSU's stable of TBs. Ridley will never play FB. Never.

HITMAN, why didn't Scott go pro like you claimed Ridley told you he would? fricking loser.

your a fricking joke. Tulane? are you serious? LSU's 3rd string D is better than Tulanes 1st. And to say he is the best back on the team? you must be his dad. I wish him all the best b/c he is a Tiger but to say he is the best rb on the team is completely absurb
