He has a law degree but I don’t think he actually practices.

He runs the SBNation recruiting page. He actually attends these camps and sees these kids in person.

But I’m sure Joe already knew all that since he has displayed his vast recruiting prowess.

So he went to Bama and FSU and has some good connections, doesn't mean he's some super qualified guy that knows more than anyone else. Do you know his coaching or playing experience? Like many analyst in recruiting in particular I take what they say with a grain of salt, but I'm that way with most people in general.
I simply answered the guys question, I'm sure Google could do the same.
Now to Cain and Emery, if possible it would be very nice to get both as each are talented and I could see them making each other better. I'm a big fan of iron sharpens iron

LSU is more of a rebuilding situation than I realized. Interim coaches are hired because the athletic department believes that the team is close to winning, wants to maintain some level of continuity, and believes the interim is the right person to keep the existing good elements, while bringing in some new. But interim coaches are not afforded the luxury of a Year Zero, because they already understand what needs to be fixed by virtue of having coached the team as an interim.
