TDP. Not sure why this is even a question

You’ll know why it’s a question if Emery ever works his way into this offense. You’ll understand when you see him making guys miss in the open field. If Emery can work hard and maintain discipline he will be significantly better than TDP.

There's really nothing Clyde can gain in his draft stock by coming back. He's having an outstanding season in an offense that's one of the tops ever in the sec. He's getting as much attention as he's gonna get from scouts, etc. watching this offense and is capitalizing off of it. He needs to go pro this year bc he won't get any better stock than he has right now. He gone.

I believe Emery is the most talented back we have. Just hasn’t turned the corner from high school to college. TDP caught on quicker, similar to Kenny Hilliard/Jeremy Hill. But next season, I believe Emery gets it and his athleticism is too good to sideline. He will be the premier back. TDP will be the bell cow when the defense is gassed. Evans will be in the rotation early but where his money will be made is in the passing game. Brennan will excel in the quick game, and having backs like Emery and Evans out there will be huge for a green QB.

The playoff is a month and a half away. I was saying he should hit the studying hard now so he can understand what he needs to do on the field by then.

Why in the world would else you want to do that? I mean it's good to have a guy prepared in case there's an injury but I don't want him taking touches away from anybody else in this offense at this point. I mean, who's touches do you want to take away to give some to Emery?

Recruitards always have the Same mindset. Always worried about what’s next instead of what’s right in front of them. They want to start the new upcoming recruit OVER the guy they just hyped last year as the great new recruit. Wash, rinse, repeat.

News flash: Very few freshman coming out of high school are ready to START (not just play) at their position in the SEC, which is basically like the NFL light.

What don't you people understand about freshman running backs?

RARELY can they just step in and play. Especially a back like Evans - he would be an all-purpose back (which means he has a lot more to learn). Emery and TDP will be our backs next year. Evans (if we even get him) will probably redshirt.

No the problem is fans often want every five star in existence to commit to a school and hope some of them will be comfortable sitting on the bench for 3 years before finally getting a chance to play. That may work with 3 star recruits but Im sure a consensus 5 star talent like Zach Evans expects to play early in his career. He could essentially play for any college he wants so im sure he expects to see the field early and often wherever he goes. The problem is there are two talented RBs on this roster only one year ahead of him. I have heard some people propose that maybe LSU uses 3 RBs next year but pretty much only CEH has seen the field much this year so I dont see the team suddenly working in three RBs for extended minutes next year. That means you run the risk of having a guy who was a top 10 HS player not get real playing time until his Junior or Senior year. Maybe Evans is okay with that but once again I am sure the coaching staff is selling him on the opportunity to play early and often so it is a fair question of who sees the majority of the snaps next year. Especially since the starting RB this year will likely be gone.

Do you seriously think the #1 RB in the country is counting on redshirting his freshman year? Do you really believe that is what the coaching staff is telling him? If so, then I honestly hope for Evans sake he seriously considers his offers because there are about 115 FBS programs he could start for next year.
