Agreed. I can't even think of any pro-style SEC QB's that put up gaudy numbers after Tim Couch and Rex Grossman.
Um, I hate to say his name, but that Tebow guy did pretty good. Ryan Mallett tore it up last year. Jevan Snead did really well in 2008. Andre Woodson in 2007. Jay Cutler in 2006. David Greene at UGA.

Of course a 5* pro-style QB is a need. It's not like they grow on fricking trees though. There wasn't a 5* QB in the entire nation last year. 2 the year before.

Not as necessary as other positions. Just a good manager with decent athletic skills. Somebody that dont have to be the system but just work in it successfully.

I have never seen a more over hyped QB than Sam Bradford.....

Mallett will hit 3000+ again this year...
