Good lord that Hamm guy is a douche

Regardless of what Hamm says, Adams is going to play in the SEC. He did tweet for about 24 hours straight about how much he loved A&M. He told texags, when asked how his A&M visit went compared to austin that "the sec is the best so so you can't really compare" or something along those lines.
I think right now it is A&M and Florida. Joker is his godfather or something. LSU has a great chance to get in the mix with a visit.
Jamal Adams is a very, very good player. High four star player already with stock rising. A lot of people think he is the second best db in the state behind TBrown. I think either you or your coaches are crazy if he is a "camp offer" as you say.

Whoa...slow down. He enjoyed his visit to A&M but to think he just crossed Texas off his list is going overboard
with a few post visit comments to an Aggie reporter. He liked his visit, but A&M is just one of the schools he "likes".

Not to mention he hasn't even visited LSU yet and will have guys like Paris, Hardeman and Tony in his ear

Horn- he has been saying for weeks that he considers himself an sec- safety.
Geauxaggie- I just said I thought lsu had a great shot after he visited. As for guys in his ear, dsg, ced collins and nick harvey are in his ear even more.

Yea not sure why those guys being in his ear gives you confidence but Harvey and DSG in his ear means nothing. Adams isn't going to be a longhorn. It will be between A&M, LSU and Florida in the end.

i doubt he ends up at lsu. Late offer compared to everyone else and bigger fish to fry.

Who at safety is a "bigger fish" at this point other than Hootie?
It seems that Hootie is the only guy left on the board at safety at this point with a legit offer, with guys like Michael Johnson and Jamal Adams right there with come in and show us what you got at camp offers.
Safety seems to be one of the only big question mark positions left at this point. Corner seems to be figured out, with Ed, Hardeman, and Tony Brown being the projected class. And who knows, maybe Voorhies is a safety and the staff has him and Hootie pegged as our class at that position. We really dont know at this point.

i think Voorhies will be a S. Don't see him at WR when you would already have underclassmen in:
Dural
Diarse
Peterson
Spears
Dupre
Noil
Quinn
Upchurch
so you've got:
CB Brown
CB Hardeman
CB/S Paris
CB/S Hootie
S Voorhies
They will try for Adoree Jackson as another CB (though they probably blew it by waiting forever to see if he really really likes them first like they did with Lorenzo Carter), then Davion Hall as a safety as guys they'd take on the spot.
Then you've got earn an offer at camp people like Adams, probably Johnson if his offer isn't commitable, and maybe Jermaine Roberts.
I don't think someone like Adams who is being fawned over by the Texas schools and a few other big programs will be dying to come earn an offer in summer camp when there are a half dozen DBs LSU clearly wants more than him.

I agree on Voorhies being a S. I don't think that has anything to do with him not having ability at WR, I think he's electric with the ball in his hands, but like you said with 4-5 great wideouts coming in with this class, and a few solid underclassmen as well (not to mention us being thin at safety) I think you see the coaches put Devin at S just out of pure need. We almost had to do it with Diarse this year.
I think the coaches look to test the waters with Adoree, but I think it's ultimately a pipe dream, much like Priest Willis last year.
I think the coaches really want to add another safety on top of Hootie (and possibly Voorhies) so its up to guys like Davion Hall, Michael Johnson, and Jamal Adams to come in the summer and compete for that spot, like most all of the other DBs at DBU had to do.
So, Jamal, if you're reading this, don't take it as a slight to you that the coaches want to see you in person. Jalen Mills, a freshmen all America friggin stud DB from your state did that, a guy you might've heard of called the honey badger did that, and many others.
Go show the coaches what you got so you can ball with Chris, Ed, Tony, and the rest of them at LSU
