well for starters...it is a top 5 party school, top 5 football program, beautiful climate and have some of the hottest girls in america walking around campus. can you say erin andrews?

a recently LSU verbally committed recruit's family made a comment about florida... pretty interesting...
mentioned how with urban's health, he may not be there the whole year this year, and how that was a big negative.

not a huge fan of gainesville, personally like BR a lot more and don't get everyone calling it a ghetto? north BR is pretty ghetto but there is really no reason to ever go there.
i definitely get the national appeal UF has right now with all these recruits. UF is just hot right now.

LOVE my home state - LA.! But I have lived in the Panhandle since '96...I have to say, it has many qualities that excell over Louisiana, as well as most other states. Start with NO income tax, great beaches from Pensacola to Key West, your choice of societies (quite Southern in the North - quite Yankee in the South). The young people here have as much pride in their state as anywhere else. Take a tour of the state and you'll see...Just take I-10 East, take a right onto I-75 a left onto I-95 and head back west on I-10 at Jacksonville. Louisiana beats Florida in two categories, hands down, FOOD and culture. Come see us...Mickey's waiting!

Well I live in Florida and there is no chance in hell I would have gone there . My kids only want to go to LSU and they are both studs . If LSU would have took my advice we would have had Javier Arenas . I called , filled out the player information and nothing . So he went to Bama .

Rabid fans, nice weather, tanned babes, Tampa and Miami within hours, Disney World, great stadium, great well spoken untra competitive coaches, the beast of the SEC East, win a lot, dominating attitude, fans actually stay til the end of games, player development, Gainesville kinda sucks but can take the babes off to the beaches or WDW on the weekend, constant parade of Heisman candidates, has had lock on Florida recruiting for a while...hmm..what else?
