EXACTLY. Lots of options back there where CBK and staff can get the best 5 on the field for coverage, rotate them to keep them fresh, and have depth in case of injuries. Unbelievable portal cycle for our Tigers.

The best Corners are gonna play corner but I'm seeing Safety/Corner/LB hybrids everywhere else.
It's another strength about what LSU recruiting allows CBK to do - he can now get players who are talented enough to be effectively cross trained and used in games at the new coached up position. Just like was done with the OLignment this season.

I dunno bout safety/LB hybrids lol...I see Matt house employing a 4-2-5 with our recent dlimen and secondary additions and lack of depth at Lb...4 downlinemen will be perfect for Harold Perkins this yr to mask him behind the big ugliest and let him eat
