The D.J. Chark offer/commit baffles me. With all the spots we need available to have a strong finish for this elite class, I just don't get this one. I don't mean to knock the young man at all. I guess I'll have to put my trust in the coaches evaluation on this one.

I feel slightly better about Cam Rob...I think he will realize how special this class is and B Harris will be in his ear for the next 6 months...I really think it's 50/50.

who would we drop instead of him, its a numbers game....we all know that
if quille wants in, we cant take 5 wr and a wr/te hybrid with washington being a true TE in this class

I do not think D. Williams comes in. I love the talent. But, it is a One Year player taking a slot of a potential 3 year starter type.
I could see Chark Grey Shirting...they really like him, but he is not an immediate contributor. I think he has grades to attend on TOPS if he wanted (and no, I do not think starting his clock is that big a deal for the guy) or he could just hang out for a semester and start school in the Jan Semester of the year.
Hardeman has been a helluva a promoter / recruiter...but, I can't see him seeing the field at LSU. Perhaps a "soft landing" can be found

I think we could. DW would be gone after 1 year so it wouldn't be too big of an issue imo, especially if OBJ and/or Landry bolts

don't greyshirts usually go to kids that live in La and usually aren't as highly recruited? Trindon was a greshirt, but I can't think of any others off the top of my head.
I dont think you neccessarily pick who you greyshirt based off of how much depth you have at a position in the class. It's more based on which recruit loves LSU enough to take a greyshirt and pay tuition until the following class comes in.
maybe santos or chark?
