What the hell are they thinking, wasting 2 scholarships on out of staters in Fordham and Blackman that will never ,ever see the field at LSU.

But Day, who hasn't even received an offer from Louisiana Tech, or any other school for that matter, would walk right in and compete for playing time at LSU. Don't you wonder why a potential starter for LSU is without any offers whatsovevr? How did so many dumb people get football coaching jobs at the college level that they can't spot obvious talent with your accumen?

I usually just read the threads and don't post on this board but I had to respond. (So please save all of the unnecessary comments on the lack of posts that I have).

Get your facts straight because Day received an offer from Louisiana Tech a couple of weeks ago. He also has two other offers from instate schools.

Question: Have you seen him play?

My mistake. Those football powerhouses he has recently received offers from clearly indicate that LSU, and the rest of the BCS schools, are missing out on a major talent.

Yes, I have. I thought he was quite good in the state championship game. However, I wasn't so blown away that I am willing to second guess the LSU coaching staff.

Well i have seen Day play twice, and like i said i am not an expert talent evaluater, but there have been several players i knew was big time players, Jason Hatcher at Jena, Anthoney Thomas at Winnfield,Whitworth at WM, Ford at Leesville. Offensive lineman do not usually stand out, but when you notice #65 continuously driving his man 10 -15 yards downfield and pancaking his arse over and over you do notice. He is up to 270 i heard now, i just hope miss state is not getting a 3 year starter and potential all sec lineman because we dropped the ball on him. Plus ilike keeping the WM pipeline going.
