All those things were true of John Elway, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino and every high school quarterback who has ever played the game. True of every running back, receiver, offensive lineman and defensive back, too.
Look at the Top 100 list of players every single year, and you will find busts at every position.
Still, you can project success based on all available information. Everyone besides me seems to believe Arch Manning is a surefire superstar in college. I don't, but we'll see.

I was impressed by Ewers' game film, but hearing that he's considering skipping his senior year of high school football and moving to Ohio, apparently to get in on early start on NIL money, is a concern. I have to believe the Ohio State coaches are trying to dissuade him.
