Looks like Nelson Jenkins is about to do big things. 247 said he was the best defensive player in Houston.

Paul Distefano does not say this unless it is true......
Over the years....PD delivered 3 big time players to LSU, they all had the chance to make-it with the Tigers....Brandon Williams from Port Allen High School; Davon Godchaux at PHS and now Jenkins...I am confident NJ will be a force...just because he was groomed by Paul Distefano...

I've said that Jenkins moves way better than Neil Farrell, and everyone raves about Farrell's athleticism. He's a fluid athlete. Will be a handful in college.

Yeah so was McMath have you seen that cat? 6'3" 220 and runs like a white tail deer son. Jenkins is further along than Godchaux was and looks quicker. He's going to be solid at DE. We really need to start getting those 320/330 lb NTs in here. Go look in Juco or where ever we need but we need to get that straight. We need like 3 or 4 of them IMO. We have what 2 real NTs and one isn't here yet who is also just a freshman and may need to lose a few lbs once here. O will get it fixed though I'm sure if it. HTTDB
