Alabama has the worst homers on the planet, but you don't come up with some of the stuff they did out of thin air.
Diarse is not pressuring him to do anything, and he was our biggest draw to getting him to LSU. Robinson and Simms (Yes, Simms, don't care if everything believes they aren't best buds or whatever) are on him like a mission.
At this point, I don't consider North LA recruits sways to LSU just because they are from Louisiana. They are 50/50 off the bat, initially. I firmly believe Alabama is winning the battle right now for his services.
This isn't a "I hope I'm wrong, but..." post. I have no sources, Sonny/Shea appear to have the same mood as they did with Robinson.

Vermillion Tiger vs. Memphis
Round? I lost count.
Without a doubt the best rivalry on the RB.
Round? I lost count.

quote:Oh, I agree. There's no good reason to start gnawing at each other every time they meet in a thread. Hootie's gonna do what Hootie wants to do and to me, it doesn't feel right for us right now. S/S don't sound confident and that's worrisome. I truly believe that certain folks like you and Memphis have credible sources which keep me grounded at times like this, but I have a feeling that we're all gonna find out very soon what the outcome of this will be whether it be good or bad. It's comin and it doesn't pay for us to badger each other about it when we're all on the same side.
lets not start this shite again, please

I agree with you. It's very easy to confuse someone's emotions over the Internet. Believe me I don't freak out over this stuff at all. I know that whatever will be will be and that Lsu will always be fine in the end. I was just commenting that its confusing as to why all of a sudden a recruit that has been to almost every game including the scrub teams that we have played would be contemplating about going to the Florida game which will be one of our biggest this year. It's seems at least interesting to me ( maybe its coincidental) but all these rumors about him and Bama comes out this past week and now he's having to decide whether to go to a marquee game at LSU. I guess growing up my whole life a huge LSU fan it has always confused me as to why recruits would even have a second thought about going to LSU if offered the chance. LSU is as elite of a program as there is and especially in Hootie's case where there is an immediate need for him on this team. Just seems like the north Louisiana kids have a different take on things. Maybe it's just me. Again sorry if you intrrpreted my post as anything other than what it was meant to be.
