Wade will definitely hold a spot for Days and be loyal to him, that may cause them to miss out on Tre Mitchell because of timing.

These don't corelate unfortunately. If its btw the two, I definitely think Mitchell would be a better player for us. I understand our history with Days...but he declared...on his own....
Wish him the best and move on

That makes it sound like what everyone thought.

One spot left between days and Mitchell.

I can't believe he would miss out on Mitchell for days

Yeah it just sucks because Days has been a great representative for LSU. Plays hard. Has been here for 3 years.

Mitchell is just better at almost every area. I guess you could say they are comparable from 3.

Itd just about HAVE to be Ezewiro or Wilkinson.

O'Neal has the name, which is all it takes...and hes apparently been impressive.
And Gaines is the ONLY returning guard we have.

So...

Well it's not my opinion that he choose Days over Mitchell. I think that Mitchell does have the higher ceiling and is certainly more athletic than Days; but it's not like Days would be some sort of drag on this team or a hinderance to them.

But it is important to note that those are just Jordy's opinion or read on the situation that Wade waiting on Days could cause LSU to miss on Mitchell.

Wade's statements just reiterate that there is is still the possibility for more roster change.

To me it's kinda obvious they are waiting on days to make a decision.

This is the second year in a row Days has declared. If I were a coach I’d say to players you get one declaration and you can come back. If you declare twice you aren’t guaranteed a spot. Otherwise, as in this case, waiting for a declared player to make up his mind can cost you.

Personally, I don't think it would be both Days and Mitchell.

I'm skeptical that either Days or Mitchell will be playing for LSU next year. But, the transfer market for both schools and players is getting crazy. I trust Wade will do his best to have the most competitive team possible next year.

I agree.

If it was Cam Thomas or Naz Reid or Waters or somebody...I can see it.

But we cant say no to Mitchell in hopes for Days...
I mean we're literally turning away a better player in this case if its true

After listening to Wade with Culotta, I don't believe Days would start on this team.
Wade was ecstatic about Eisen, Miller, and Murray. They all hustle, can shoot and defend.
He also said O'Neal, Wilkinson, Gaines, had made improvement. Fudge and Eison were good shot blockers and Murray is a great defender as well as great offensive skills. Eison and Murray were over 40% shooting 3s.
He also mentioned Reid's communication skills as well as his hook shot.
Great interview.

Pinson
Miller
Knight
Mitchell
Reid

Will the the best offense in college basketball with a ton of size

Then with long athletic guys like Murray Eason Gaines Wilkinson Fudge and Oneal getting minutes too, Not making atleast the Elite 8 would be a disappointing season

I would too if the player you are telling to wait is mitchell.

If I were a betting man, I would bet that Eason and Miller will be in the starting lineup.
If a player can block shots, rebound, and shoot forty percent from the three, Eason, how does he not start?
According to Coach, Eason and Fudge are the best shot blockers on the team.

I knew Eason was the rim protector and rebounder of the new guys...

But he shoots 40% from 3??? I dont even remember him taking a 3pt attempt in his highlights

Eason shot 24% from 3. If wade pulls mitchell, eason will assuredly come off the bench

I love Wade, but this is a common off-season occurrence. He said this about Hyatt every year.

It's on Youtube if you care to search for Cullotta and Wade. Said he could play, 3, 4, or 5. That gives an opportunity to get a lot of playing time.

He said, "in practice". Dunno.
