Being an academically focused 3* high school football player is about the best position a young person can be in. The more academic and private schools are overjoyed to pickup a 3* player, and a smart kid should be happy with a full scholarship to an expensive academic school. That is where the opportunity is for kids in football recruiting.

He tore his knee up to end his senior year at the U. Nice kid, very athletic and can run. I always saw him as a CB and not a WR. Very dangerous kick returner. If you have a spot left take him, if not, don't. He's a tweener in my opinion but a great hometown kid.

Who said his focus was academics. U high brought him in to play football. He verbally committed to a big time program for football, it's about football don't be fooled otherwise.
