edge rushers being skill players? kind of a mixed bag, imo. there are some edge rushers that are 3rd down skill guys. not as effective against the run because of size, so they are not every down linemen. then you've got some guys who are good against the run and great edge rushers. and of course, guys in the middle. you can't make a blanket statement.
