most classes are full or pretty close
schools are evaluating whether to even offer any more high school kids or save those spots for transfers

Kids don’t have to sign on signing day technically. It’s just the first day they are allowed to sign (or first they were allowed to sign before ESD). They could wait until May if they wanted to, but they run the risk of others filling up in that timeframe so that’s why they all sign on the first day.
