hate to sound tough on the guy but you would think Evangel would teach English to all students.

still sounds like a good story.

The only concern I have is he played in 2AA so his stats where skewed in district and the playoffs. Evangel does a great job playing up pre district to help sell their kids but I would have loved to have seen him compete in 4A or 5A. Not selling small school prospects short, I just find it’s hard to evaluate them. I'm just a HS football nut, not the one that gets paid to be the expert.

I watched Tyson Jackson at West St. John loose in the 2AA Semi's his senior year. He was abused and pushed around all night. I knew LSU was making a mistake with that one. Boy was I wrong!

I was impressed with DJ Welter in High School but did not think he was SEC linebacking material. I felt Notre Dame did a great job of selling him and LSU bought in hook line and sinker. I hope I'm wrong on this one.

I could be wrong but I thought Tyson Jackson and Quinn Johnson won the state title as seniors?

Great video!

He looks a little lean though, will they beef him up and keep him a DE or turn him into a LB? According to scouts.com he runs a 4.6 40..

He is 250 and will play DE at around 270 at LSU and still be explosive. Great athlete

Welcome aboard Rasco. Great name, great kid. Am I the only one who thinks he looks and plays like at LB?

A real quality kid and a great addition to the Tiger stable of athletes. I saw his signing live; it was awesome, actually brought a tear to my eye. Here's to a great career and a great education at LSU.

I saw Tyson Jackson play alot. I was right about Tyson winning the title as a senior. I checked this so I don't know what game you were watching. Tyson was raw coming out as a senior. He did not have too much of a defined body coming out of high school. He was never manhandled. He was 2A defensive player of the year as a senior and played both ways. I don't see how you thought he was over rated as a 3 star player.
