one thing you forgot to mention about the espn evaluation is that they rated rivers a 76 and ranked him the #55 qb. that's not good.

Rivals has him as the #10 qb in the nation which is way more credible than the shitty coverage espn does IMHO

to be fair. the rivals rating is for pro style QBs and if you add dual threat guys then rivers would be rated in the high 20s. he is rated no. 30 on scout.

So of all the QB's in high school he's in the top 100. Works for me......

well oliver is in the top 100 and so is prescott but this board didn't want them

quote:Yes they are in the top 100, but they both are ranked lower by Rivals, Scout, and ESPN. Not to mention their offers don't hold a candle to Rivers.

How did his delivery get so wierd just like his bother's? You think that is what they have been taught by their father or some coach?

More than likely hereditary, or he just learned it from being around his brother.

I didn't mind Prescott. He has the ability to make things happen with his feet.

Rivers looks like he has an extremely high upside compared to some of the others. With polishing, could be as good as any in this class IMO.

That's what I first thought, but know way you inherit a low delivery style. Or could you? Has to be something taught when young...I have no clue really.

How did it come to be that two brothers have such similar unorthodox throwing motions? Genetics? Or did the younger Rivers try to emulate his big brother?

their dad taught them both how to throw

I know a couple of folks from Athens, see if they have any more interesting info on him.
