Yeah clhstrojans, didn't say Trovon played a cupcake schedule, but Speedy played against that Neville squad twice that would have handled those same teams and and I do remember Speedy being banged up as well in one of those dome matchups...

Speedy beat Neville and everyone else with...

Willis - 4 Star DE
Ellis - 4 Star CB - Texas A&M
Alexander - 3 Star LB - LSU
Dobard - 3 Star TE - Miami
Jones - 3 Star TE - ULL
Williams - 3 Star DT - Oklahoma State
Walton - 2 Star LB - ULL
Offrery - 2 Star DB - Oklahoma State
Moore - 2 Star LB - Louisiana Tech
Refuge - 2 Star LB - Kent State
Irons - 2 Star WR -

Trovon Reed led Thibodaux to the 5a Quarterfinals 2 or 3 years in a row with...

Robinson - 4 Star OL - Auburn
Granier - 3 Star LB - LSU
Joshua Johnson - 0 Star RB - Nicholls State Walkon
Bolt - 0 Star WR - Nicholls State Walkon
Coler - 0 Star DT - Hinds Community College

Give Trovon Karr's talent and he would have done the same thing.

Are we comparing teams now or just 2 players?

Neville scored multiple times against that roster... My point was Speedy was the main factor in winning and also losing both games in the dome...

Thought we ALL agreed who was the superior talent... Not even sure why we are still debating

You the one who said you'd take Speedy over Trovon because he played against tougher competition which is not the case. Competition was about the same maybe slightly better for Speedy but Trovon had much less to work with so it's a wash. Put him on Karr's team and he would have beaten Neville in the dome too.

Had you just said you take Speedy because he's more talented, no debate there from me. I sure hope he is more talented. I think he is now that we know Trovon's ceiling on the next level but we won't find out for sure until Speedy puts a college uniform on.

I'm dropping it now.

Comprehension 101:

I stated both kids were good and gave the edge to Speedy because he played against a Neville team that was 2-1 in the dome, plus having more explosiveness....
