Can Collins come in and start as as true freshman or is he gonna be at least a year away like almost all OL?

As good as he is, I think it'll take some time. He would be special if he could come in and pass the guys ahead of him that quick.

I'm not saying Ronald Martin is a horrible player because I think he is a good player, but I wish that we wouldn't give players like him a committable offer based on one camp. I would have thought that Miles would have learned his lesson by doing this over the past few years by just going off of a camp performance. Cameron Fordham is one name that comes to mind. Also, we basically have Raven, David Jenkins, and Ronnie Martin on the way.

So unless Raven is moved back to safety, where we have a logjam of safeties currently, I don't think we would take 4 CBs in this class. What I do like however is that we have a great shot at 4 actual cornerbacks, and not straight running backs or wide receivers in high school that we move to the defensive side

Geaux...Fordham is a big guy with 4.6 speed. He could be a DE,TE,FB, but recruited for Center. He dominated everywhere they put him at camp. Big guys with speed are hard to pass on. He's one of those lunchbox guys that can fill in when injuries mount, and be one heck of a pulling center in a few years. Early reports are he is getting huge. He may bomb, but 4.6 O-lineman don't grow on trees. He also was the best offensive back(FB)on his team in the Allstar Bowl. I think it was the O/D bowl, but I'd have to look it up.

Cameron Fordham (LSU) is a big athlete that has proven to be the East's most consistent weapon. Fordham said today that he currently weighs 240 pounds. He has lined up at tight end and fullback, and he may end up as a center for LSU. When asked what LSU expected of him, Fordham said, "It depends on how much weight I put on.

That was clipped from the O/D bowl article.

Cameron Fordham is a bad example.

Also Ronald Martin will likely be a Safety and Raven could move there if needed. Jenkins is all CB and so is Ronnie Martin (SC).

Ronnie is also a Return specialist so IMO he is still a take, but does that mean 5 DB's? Or will we not take Ronnie?

Jenkisn, Raven, Ronald, Ronnie, and Lewis(move to safety)

We won't have room for Lyons

or Waisome?

It's down to five schools for Nick Waisome.

Waisome said via instant message Monday night that he will make his decision in August and it is down to Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU and South Carolina.

This. Unless Ronald is the next Cromartie, he won't be a corner with his height.

Next up: Raven, Jenkins, Ronnie Martin, and *fingers crossed* Lyons.

I haven't heard much lately on the Daren Kitchen front. Any new developments? Or is he on the outside looking in?
