Just posting to say I appreciate the exchange between Alt26 and SoloTiger. It's exciting to think about the potential of this team and hear folks' informed opinions.

I think Coleman will start over Phillips even though he is undersized. The film I saw Phillips was pretty sloppy with the basketball and needed a lot of work. It was from Feb. of 2022.
Coleman has experience at the college level that you just can't teach.
Could Phillips start over Coleman at some point...maybe. I just think the coaches are gonna have to work him hard.
Solid stuff. All I saw was the dunk vid.
Only about a few hundred variables for CMM to consider before conference, right?
If he is mobile enough to rebound/defend/rim run from the git-go then I like him to start during non-con. Like WW was doing with Reid, I want to see him get quality minutes vs starters whether it's SEC talent or not.
One of the first 2 sets I run in the first game would be for him to pick (hi or low) and go to the hoop for a weak side/diagonal pass for a dunk. Not that we'll need him as an important offensive piece but let's let the big kid eat right off the bat for confidence. Twice a half would be ideal but there's way more important pieces in the offense that need to be decided first.
Stronger hands, footwork, and free throws need to be his major concerns right now.
And let's not forget about Reed. Let's hope we should be asking the same questions about him.

This roster is deep. Cold, too.

ISWYDT. Nice Richard Pryor reference. Joked about him and his buddies taking a leak on a bridge.

Thanks for the comment, but I'm nothing special. Just a fan that played some HS basketball.

I'm more of a baseball guy by trade.

Richard Pryor was one of the all-time great stand-up comedians. He'd probably cancelled today by the Woking Dead zombies.
