I definitely wanted him to be apart of last years class, but I think that he was just RB stud.

He definitely had interest in LSU. Camped at LSU along with Tony Hurd and we never offered either. Looks like not offering Lewis was a mistake.

IIRC he had some interest, but LSU never showed much and passed (along with a couple of other big schools) because they were worried about his height.
I always liked him, as did a couple of other posters here.

For the life of menu can't remember why Lsu didnt go after him harder. He would have been the kind of linebacker that we have a need for.

That's what is was. Him, Hurd, and Lachney IIRC were suppose to be a package deal. That went well, as they usually do.

Byron Jones was Fr. All SEC as well. A lot of people thought he would have went to LSU if offered.
