Back when Charlie Mac was the coach, he would recruit a lot of high school quarterbacks and move them to different positions once in college. He knew that they were the best athletes on the team. If Christian Harris is a great athlete, they can find a place for him on the field. The coaches are doing that now with different players. So yes it is common and it does happen often.
