The state’s top linebacker, a priority target, spent time chatting up coach Ed Orgeron and had a chance to connect with newly minted 2020 verbal pledge TJ Finley, who Orgeron is using as a recruiting tool for the 2019 and 2020 classes.

Garrett Nussmeier, the son of former Florida offensive coordinator and current Dallas Cowboys assistant Doug Nussmeier, threw for the staff. Shadeur Sanders, who entering his sophomore year boasts a slew of impressive big-time offers, worked out both sessions. He, of course, is the son of former Florida State legend Deion Sanders.

Five-star LSU offensive line pledge Kardell Thomas was back on campus for a second day in a row. Thomas was keeping tabs on his teammates camping and spending more time with some of the current players and coaches. Thomas was not the only big man in attendance. Alexandria 2020 tackle Jacobian Guillory stuck around to support his teammate, Bud Clark, who worked out at defensive back on Sunday. The two spent a lot of time hanging out. Four-star Alabama 2020 tackle Jayson Jones made the visit to town for the whole staff and drew a lot of attention from James Cregg, Jeremy Hawkins and members of the personnel staff.
