Saban untouchable when it comes to recruiting

Whether we like it or not (and I don't like it) - the NCAA is never going to touch Saban regardless of what is going on behind the scenes in recruiting. The reality is Saban has been great for college football with coaches making more money than ever, facilities being upgraded and colleges are making more money now on football than ever with tickets, advertising, clothing, TV revenue to name just a few. Attendance may be down at games but college football overall is very healthy financially. The NCAA - and anyone else with common sense - is not going to take out its cash cow. And I'm sure with everyone making lots of money on college football, the players (the big-time recruits) and their families are also getting a piece of the pie. I don't like it, but it is what it is!

Let’s worry about us and less about Saban. Saban is not the reason we lost to Florida and A&M last year.

I disagree. That is why the average guy cant afford to take his family to the game. The SEC arms race has gotten ridiculous.

Don't tell Lil' Nicky that Dabo is kicking his azz in recruiting.

This is really sour grapes. Maybe he’s just a better coach and recruiter

These things are NOT great for college football, it's made it simply a business and most cannot keep up with the salaries and facility improvements. You think it's great that realistically there are only about a handful of schools that have a chance at the national Championship each year?

The recruiting board has looked more like the rant as of recently

No sour grapes, just facts. It's clear you know very little about recruiting. College football and basketball recruiting is out of control with the large sums of money, cars, jobs, houses, women and just about anything else you can think of. My point is Saban, Dabo and a couple of other big-time head coaches are untouchable simply because they are making the NCAA a lot of money. All the big time programs cheat, but some programs hold a lot more clout at the table, while other programs are susceptible to an NCAA investigation at any time!

I'll guess NCAA investigators are on the take more that congressmen and women. And much harder to catch at it.
Saban and co. knows the system.

This is the only year Dabo has ever been ahead of Bama and Bama is still right on their tail. Clemson's recruiting hasn't really been that great in years past. Dabo just does more with less

Let's not forget that he's besties with NCAA President Mark Emmert, who was at LSU when Nick was.

So maybe if O started winning like Dabo he'd get the same clout?

Had YOU been in-charge there is no way you would have suffered through SEVEN YEARS of "Clemsoning" without demanding Dabo be fired. You would have canned his arse at the end of year two.
Dabo:
Year 1: 9-5
Year 2: 6-6
The end, You fired him there. That's when Dabo's story at Clemson ended had you and tiny-dicked malcontents like you run the world.
Just sayin....

Nice straw man.
Dabo won his division in his first year and won his conference in his third. Then won his division again in his fourth year. All at a school with no recent history of championship-level success. Winning hardware buys coaches time and benefit of the doubt.
