Nice Post Apex, I am a Bama fan. Ican't imagine how most of you feel for Saban going to coach your rival. Believe me, I am thankful. One thing that all of you must see without your blinders on is the body of work. On paper, LSU still has a tremendous amount more talent on paper than Bama. Saban is a mad man on the recruiting trail. I feel that most are fearful of his abilities. Dmitch, we want Rueben Randle real bad. You can see why watching the Bama vs Miss State game. We had too many dropped balls. If we could through it to Julio 20 times a game, we would. We just don't have the talent yet. It's coming. If Rueben comes to Bama, we will be back in the National Championship chase in 2 years.

too bad JPW will be gone and yall will be in the same situation as us this year. star jackson was not a prolific passer in high school and will struggle his first year in the sec. you won't have to worry about dropped ball because the qb will struggle to get them the ball. jmo

I love how all of you guys think that saban regrets leaving LSU. If he loved it so much there he would have stayed! I think he is really happy at Bama because he is treated like roaylty. When we lost to ULM last year i didnt see anyone leave the game till the game was over. If randle is smart hed realize bama is on the way up and lsu on the way down. and all i know is this bama team has very little talent and saban is winning. its going to be scary tiger fans if hes here 10 years. real scary

JPW has xperienced sme serious downs in his career at Bama. I am sure he is saying it's all worth it now. Bama will continue to be strong. Bama is losing only one guy on defense next year. Jim McElwain has turned JPW into a legend in the state of Alabama. Jim McElwain will do that for the next Qb as well. Keep in mind, all of those running backs will be returning along with Trent Richardson...The Future is very bright in Tuscaloosa. Saban also has the NFL connection. Scouts are in Tuscaloosa every week during practices. DMitch, tell Rueben that he can't go wrong picking Bama. Saban will take him to the mountain top.

Sabin had Sexton call Bertman right after LSU lost to Gators to see if we'd take him back and LSU said no. Sabin has already admitted that he screwed up by leaving LSU so that's not in dispute.

You lose credibility with your silly crap about LSU on the way down. We won the NC last yr. goober so yeah we're on the way down this year since we won't repeat as #1. Bama won't win the SEC or the NC this year and sure as heck won't be winning anything next year without a QB to throw to JJ.

If Bama can put together a string of great years like LSU has, then great, then we can ALL admit that Bama is back. If Sabin is all that, it will happen but it has not happened yet.

He seemed genuinely honest about it when he was on TV being interviewed last year, and this year's interview...and his wife and his agent Jimmy Sexton. (Again it's well documented, in his own words, a Professional mistake to leave)

On leaving during a game:

Bama fans right now are hungry...LSU fans are bit spoiled.. you guys turned away 10k in your spring game.

You guys went 7-6 and were all over him...but Saban can manage expectations with the best of them...His best quality is he is a salesman. He tells you how you need to think, ahright

I sure hope we're on the way down like Florida was last year. Their downward spiral last year sure is having an effect on this year. O wait.... Seriously, Saban is doing a lot with not as much talent but to suggest that he was unhappy at LSU is BS. You have no knowledge on that subject other than papers and websites. He had to be convinced to leave and has said it was one of the worst professional decisions of his life. He was happy here but wanted to try his hand at the NFL. It didn't work out for him and now we have the present situation.

Hey D. Word around Bastrop is that the paper mill will be shutting down soon. The mill is all that Bastrop has, and it has been thrown around that Bastrop will be asked to leave the state...... That is, unless Rueben goes to Baton Rouge.

Help save a brother from packing and dealing with the movers.

Saban was very lucky this year.

A weak Western Div.

No significant injuries on a team with no depth

JJ who bailed out JPW and Bama many times

And Nick Saban is any better? You sound like a close family and why would ya'll believe anything Nick Saban would say? He has a PROVEN track record of being a liar. I hope he comes to LSU and plays in front of his home state.

Very good point.
