I've been checking the board over the last week and people have been saying he's a LSU lock now. What's changed? I know he hasn't said anything because I've read all the articles. I've talked to a couple of Alabama players, and they all said Rueben is going there, but he's just not committing because he's scared of how LSU fans will react.

doesn't matter till he puts the pen to the paper

Nobody knows for sure
I can guarantee you that he hasn't informed random Bama players about it.
You are either a troll, or getting bad information.

That is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. You think that is his basis of choosing a school? Good god.

that is the stupidest argument i have heard, and im tired of hearing it.. if that was the case, then why does he keep saying he will announce on NSD? If he really wanted to do without 'LSU fans reaction' (thats stupid also), why not wait until April?

Players say what they the want to happen
Bama insiders that follow recruiting believe RR is headed elsewhere, probably LSU." LSU insiders are saying the same thing now, I don't know why exactly?
Bama has ramped up it's efforts for other WR's...
RR has not told anyone anything... It just a general, logical conclusion over many factors, that RR in the end choose LSU...
All 4 Rivals experts have picked RR to LSU fwiw
Why? Probably because LSU has the best long term QB situation, and best over all situation, over Bama and OU..
and the home state advantage
In fact it has been speculated by many that Bama is now 3rd place for RR

I wouldn't go that far.

I wouldn't over estimate the pressure he is in. This kid is the number one recruit in the country. I could definetly see any highly regarded recruit wanting to wait till the last minute to declare if he was choosing an out of state school. Especially if he lives a very pro-instate school area and going to a rival SEC school.
I still think Randle ends up here but don't for one second think this doesn't play into the minds of player. Patrick Peterson, if I recall correctly, was silent commitment because of this.

Patrick Peterson announced in early January...just prior to the NC game during the Army All-American game.

florida is not the same as louisiana. florida has three major programs, LA has one. I think he's going to be in P&G regardless fwiw

Think this might be a better question to ask in the big thread at the top of the board titled "Official Rueben Randle Thread"?

That thread has lost its usefulness.

I'd be worried about my own suck arse team if I were you UGA fan. Last time I checked, ya'll were supposed to win the NC the last two seasons because ya'll were the "hottest" team in CFB.

UGA has beat us down 3 times in a row
That needs to change this year

It's degraded into name calling, "witty" responses and no good information or discussion. My sense is that very few people want to wade through 26 pages of dumb posts.
I agree with the principle: there were WAY too many RR threads. But at the same time, it's 10 days to signing day, he is the #1 recruit in America, he is a Louisiana boy who will either choose his home state school or most likely go to our arch-rival in the SEC West. There are only 7 or so other recruits even in the picture and none of them are as likely as RR. And it's not like the other non-RR threads are all that wonderful or earth shattering.
So I think the pavlovian response to a new RR thread of "this belongs in the stickied thread" is the stuff of simple minds.
