I think Robinson is just waiting to see if LSU has a good season. If we play solid, I'd be a little surprised if he chose Auburn. If Auburn has a better season, than that sort of levels the playing field.

UVA has an eagle?

The legend y'all tell is that a Confederate Alabamian fighting in Lee's Army of Northern Virginia found a golden eagle that had been wounded by Yankee mortar fire during the Battle of the Wilderness (due east of Charlottesville in Orange County) in early May 1864. He supposedly nursed the eagle back to health and brought it home to the East Alabama Male College (now "Auburn U," mercifully).

So yes, as the flagship university of both the Commonwealth of Virginia and the South as a whole, you owe us one eagle.

And it's not that I don't understand Dr. George Petrie's impetus for choosing the burnt orange and navy blue colors of his alma mater (U.Va.) to represent the sports teams of the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama -- imitation is, after all, the highest form of flattery -- it still would be nice if y'all could give it a damn rest. And "Tigers" for a mascot, too? Jesus; could y'all do something original . . . anything original? Just ONCE would be nice.

Lets just get Jonah Austin and call it a day.
Jonah isn't on Gregs level.

Why give up on a top prospect because it may be a fight to land him? If we adopted this method Ego, Sam Montgomery and quite a few others wouldn't be on this team right now.

If he doesn't end up here fine, but don't give up and take a lower level prospect when it isn't over yet.

There is a piece on ESPN Insider, Robinson is quoted as saying Auburn leads. He said he hangs out w/ Trovon when he goes to Auburn versus getting the recruiting process treatment at LSU. Says the only reason he'd stay at LSU is if he feels the need to stay close to home.

Maybe he wants to play LT and knows he wont with Collins on board so hes using Reed as his excuse for liking AU. IDK. Ill be suprised if he end up at LSU. Everyone is in denial just like they were with Reed last season. His actions speak for him. The kids leaning to Auburn, period. Its not a done deal obvisouly, but hes leaning that way.

Yeah, he's gone, unless the family keeps him close. AU can recruit, you have to give them that.

Meh, I hope he takes a official to the AU vs. LSU game so he can see how bad LSU destroys them every year. I'm sure Chiz will show his amazing coaching abilities again.

If he was worried about LSU's program stability, I don't see how anyone could say AU is more stable right now. Chiz will be fired after next season. 3 years in the program.
