If Kamara gets an LSU offer, that means he's legit. LA is loaded with DB's this year and there are a couple in TX waiting for their offers.

Actually RN likes UA because he will play LB. He has stated that in several interviews that he sees himself as the next Upshaw. So for UA he would play OLB/Jack and for LSU a DE.

He is already the same size as Upshaw if not bigger. Does Nick want a 290 pound OLB? With LSU, he could play DE or DT.

Courtney Upshaw senior year at Bama:

Robert Nkemdiche junior year in high school:

That is why I do not think LSU offered because they probably want him at camp. He only has offers from Miss State, Clemson, and Ole Miss. And that is after RN hinted they would be a package deal and not before.

He is 265-270 but as fast if not faster than any LB we have right now. Also he has no body fat, it is all muscle on RN. I doubt he grows much more. Now I do agree I think he ends up at DE which he could play at either school. But RN says he really likes to play with his hand down and standing up and is one of the big reasons he has always liked UA.

FWIW it he can not go worng at either UA or LSU. He will be a 1st rd pick at either school.

Mike Brockers was around the same size as Nkemdiche in HS. He measured in at 6'5" 322 at the NFL combine. No way Nkemdiche plays jack LB. If he is being told that, it is just a pitch.

Edit: Brockers was also the DE for his HS team.

You are correct. I cannot disagree with that statement. It all depends on his style of play that he prefers. There is no way he will play jack LB though.

Look at his body in that picture. He's already bigger than the biggest Bama linebacker at maybe 16 years old. You are telling that a kid that young won't add on to his lean 6'5" 270 pound build? He may not get any taller but he's gonna get thicker until he's around 20. I know Saban likes to tell his top prospects what they want to hear and I don't rag on him for that because it works. If Saban wants a jack LB to be pushing 300 pounds, then Nkemdiche will be his first.

The GF thing doesn't work as well for pretenders.

If I'm any defensive player for that opposing high school, I'm faking an injury or something that Friday night. I couldn't even imagine seeing that thing running at me in the open field. Even if I went for his legs, I think he would still bury you

We have a former DT playing a runningback position at LSU, so what's your point? If he's a good enough ball-handler, its a brilliant idea if you ask me.

In regards to Conn his HC he has never pushed him to UA that I have seen. RN's mother lives in Nigeria where she is a Congresswoman for one of the states in Nigeria. His father is a ER doctor in Atlanta. So during his freshman year his parents let him live with his asst coach Lenny Gomes. Who by the way played at BYU. Hence why he visited the Ole Miss-BYU game last year, even though OM fans will tell you it was because of his interest with OM. His sophmore year he stayed with Conn and not sure why not with Gomes. But Conn was getting alot of grief thrown at him from UGA fans accusing him of pushing RN to UA, but we have only offered one other kid a scholly since he has been at Grayson that I know of. All these other package deal attempts UA has not been involved with any. So this past year(junior year) he lived with the family of the starting QB who just signed with Miss State and not with Conn.

Surely he's smart enough to that he won't play jack lb in that scheme. Of course that's what bama is recruiting him as, that's where half their defensive signees think they'll play.

I was just saying he is such a great athlete he can play anywhere. He does not just come in on certien plays. He had like 85 yards and a TD in the state championship game. He was just measured at 6-5 265 and clocked at a 4.4 40.

It is where he wants to play. So of course UA is telling him ok. See nothing wrong with it if that is where the top player in the country says he wants play. 8)

"Jack LB" seems like an awesome position to play. It's the most versatile position on the field and is also the most stat friendly. At times, I wished LSU could play a 3-4 just so we can utilize the normally abundant crop of defensive linemen that come out of LA and establish a jack LB position. Now that the boom of in-state 4-3 LB's hit last year's class with several nice looking ones in this year's class, I am starting to think that it may be best to stay in the 4-3.

I think its bama, in that interview he said he already knows what school he wants to go to. Unless we bringing in his buddy i don't think he will come, but there is always a chance
