Harry3740 selects COLT LYERLA, LB Oregon. 6'5 225 pounds and an early enrollee. I've seen him compared to Brian Urlacher and Julius Peppers. Lyerla should step in and contribute from day one for Oregon's defense. Perfect fit in their crazy 3-4-4. Lyerla is as athletic as they come. 40 inch vertical leap.

I was very tempted to go DE with my pick, but all of the top DE's are headed to Notre Dame. Combine that logjam with the fact that they are playing in a 3-4.......no thanks.

Damn. Was hoping to get him next rd. Crazy talent. I think LB is right. Good get.

Very, very good RB class this year. So many quality backs to choose from.

Thanks. It was he or Lyeria. You made it easy for me.

Lyerla really has a chance to be one of the top impact freshmen in the country considering he could possibly start from day one on a top 5 team.
He's also a guy that will light it up at the combine when he does eventually make the leap.

I don't know much about him. What's his story? I know Clemson is getting a lot of talent, but don't they usually do that, then nothing big happens for them?

Anthony Chickillo-DE/OLB
CHickillo is a tremendous athlete who could be a (3-4) OLB or a (4-3) DE. He has a very quick first step and is outstanding in pursuit. He is relentless and will rundown the opposition sideline-to-sideline. He is tough to block and gets a good upfield push, he needs to refine his pass rush technique, but he gets by now on pure power and speed. He is athletic enough to drop in coverage and strong enough to take on lead blockers. Bob Lichtenfels Scout.com
Jay Rome-TE
There are not many faults in Rome's game as he finishes out his junior season. He is big, he has good speed, he is tough, he is an exceptional blocker, he can split out or line up outside the tight end, and he is unselfish. He is an outstanding athlete with NFL potential. If there is one thing he can continue to work on, it would be his strength. - Chad Simmons - 10/28/2009

My bad. I grabbed the wrong email address. Sorry Flask. Harry wants a kicker anyway.

It's okay. I had a couple in mind any way.
I would be in a rage fit if I thought I had gotten a steal.

I was looking at Pagan, but it wouldnt seem right now. Im gonna go QB here. Might be reaching a bit but I'll take Brett Hundley QB for UCLA. Another early enrollee. 6'4 220 pounds. Big, mobile QB who can make all the throws but can also kill your defense with his feet. Look for him to beat out UCLA's other shitty qb's in the spring and be the starter week 1. UCLA really thinks this guy can lead them into football relevance.
Go ahead and tear this pick apart if you must.

Thanks for not taking him. I would have felt like shite for screwing that up. Onward~!

I was really debating on whether to take a QB here or not, but I decided that O'Leary was just too good to pass up and will probably have an instant impact at FSU as a freshman.
