Dan clearly implied that we would simply pick 2 players without swaping
Yes, and the vote clearly showed that people liked that better than not having a draft at all.
I don't know if you are saying that you would have been against it if you had know this is how it was going to be, but if you take your vote and BCF's vote away, there would still have been a heavy majority in favor of it.
Please stop fooling yourself into thinking that you are in the majority on this one.

Thanks Dan, much easier to follow on the first page.

Not that it matters to me since I am dead in the center of the draft, but we are snaking the last 2 rounds?

LaMarcus Joyner - CB (Florida St.)
5'9, 165
4.34 40yd
I couldn't turn down the opportunity to have the top 2 corners. His height was what made me pick Milliner first but I can't argue with his speed and athleticism. He will also be very dangerous in the return game if FSU uses him there.
From Scout: Speed kills and Joyner may be the fastest football player, in pads, in the entire state of Florida. Joyner should join a handful of players in all of college football right now who can change the image of a game with just one touch. With long limbs and a great leaping ability he has the ability to cover taller receivers and lower center of gravity to change direction with smaller receivers.
I'm giving back Michael Carr, CB, Miss St. He was a legitimate pick by me and I would have been happy with him at CB if I couldn't have Joyner.
With my Extra Pick, I'll take:
Reid Webster - OT (Clemson)
6'5, 270
I can't get enough Clemson guys on my team. He adds much needed depth at OT. Nichols could end up at TE eventually and Webster is my backup. I used Dan's secret OL formula, the all-elusive FSU/Trickett offer, to pick him.
Offense: Spread/Pro
QB – Robert Bolden - Penn St. (6'4, 205)
RB – Charles Perkins - Georgia Tech (6'0, 195)
RB/Slot – DJ Morgan - USC (5'11, 175)
WR – Matt Milton - Tennessee (6'6, 200)
WR – Andrew Carswell - Pittsburgh (6'4, 210)
TE – Austin Haywood - Oklahoma (6'4, 245)
LT - Morgan Moses - Virginia (6'7, 350)
LG – Kalon Davis - Clemson (6'5, 325)
OC - AJ Cann - Clemson (6'3, 260)
RG – Matt Rotheram - Pittsburgh (6'6, 310)
RT – Tate Nichols - Notre Dame (6'7, 280)
OT - Reid Webster - Clemson (6'5, 270)
Defense: 3-4
RE - Kaleb Eulls - Mississippi St. (6'4, 255)
DT - Louis Nix - Notre Dame (6'2, 320)
LE -Derrick Bryant - UCLA (6'4, 230)
DE/OLB - Delvin Jones - Ole Miss (6'6, 230)
DE/OLB - Victor Beasley - Clemson (6'5, 225)
MLB - Michael Taylor - Florida (6'1, 215)
OLB – Luke Muncie - LSU (6'3, 215)
CB - DeMarcus Milliner - Alabama (6'2, 180)
CB - Lamarcus Joyner - Florida St. (5'9, 165)
FS - Bryant Jackson - Texas (6'3, 185)
SS - Mike Dorsey - West Virginia (6'3, 210)
5'9, 165

So I boneheaded a first round pick on Money Mike and then a late round center pick on a player that is not even playing college ball?
Sorry, Team Yetty.

Basically, the only two decisions you had in terms of input.

He started my team while I was on the road from Houston to Fort Worth so I couldnt really do any research. He has a raging hard on for Mike Davis. I gave him an earful for weeks about it, but it's all good. He also made the Jose Jose pick when I was out of town.

Posted on 4/15/10 at 4:08 pm to OBUDan
Because Yetty asked me to get him the best available defensive end and not the 3-5th best WR (in his mind).
I think the Coxson-Davis combo is looking nice now..

Yeaaaaaah, pretty sure I'm not going to have any real good players come to me in this supplemental draft.
Posted on 4/15/10 at 4:19 pm to Suntiger
For my supplemental pick I'm going with Chris Martin. He'll replace Prince Shembo who kind of got shuffled out of position as my team evolved. Can't pass up a guy like Martin and I like most of my team. And I can't wait around for Shembo to "Moffitt up," so........
Martin in at DE and Shembo back into the pool.
My bonus pick.........which I'm pretty excited about is Corvin Lamb (RB) signed with Louisville in the end and he's pretty damn fast if you didn't know.
