ou're in the minority on that opinion.
As for Goosed, he's been texting me his picks and more or less having me pick for him. So I didn't feel like doing the leg work in explaining to him what was going down if he wasn't gonna show in the thread...
How are we supposed to compare teams later on when some people have 22 players and others have 24?

Disagree. The majority wanted the supplemental rounds. Get over it.

I'll text him and get two bonus picks.

Essentially, if he chooses only to have 22 then that's his issue. We'll just get the points for whomever we have. Those who have more players have a tiny bit better chance to accumulate more points.
You're in the great minority of the people who have voiced a problem with the way things have been run. It's tough to make everyone happy and at the end of the day he's done the best he could when everyone has voiced ideas or suggestions; at some point you just have to pick a way and everyone is under the same rules.
Personally, I have enjoyed it and it's been fun!

How do you know? We never even voted on the trading players thing.

Because when it was mentioned you were and are the only one bitching about it.

Read the thread back. OBUDan was tired of managing votes and opinions b/c people had too many versions of how it should be done. Several folks recommended he just make the decision and we all live with it. Done deal. End of story. The last little twist of "bonus" pick genius was a surprise, but who the hell cares. It's Dan's party and he can change game rules if he chooses.
I don't know if you are really trying to complain and bitch about this, or if it is just coming off that way in writing. If you are complaining, it is pretty fricked up considering all of the effort put into this.

Trading players would have only muddied the waters more. It's taken long enough as it is to complete this thing and working out trades would have only made things more convoluted.

I think he was referring to swapping out a player of your own for a player previously drafted.

Not sure what Dan has in mind, but one way could ranking players numerically and dividing the total number by the number of players per team. Of course, most of these kids could be in fall camp if someone had to go in and individually rate them.

Dan, can you keep the Supplemental Round updated with who picked who on page 93?

1st let me say this thing was a blast no matter what and Dan did a great job.
I read the thread and we voted that we would simply pick players for 2 rounds from the Enfuego pool and guys not selected. No swaping or trading. The vote was decided like 10-2 or something. Then yall changed it out of the blue, to this trading thing.
Its not a big deal its a danm 2010 recruit fantasy draft, but I just don't understand how it went from that to this. We voted and got huge majority rule... we had it perfect and Dan said the vote was going to be final. I am going to stop bitching but I just don't understand how it got changed out of the blue like that after we voted.

Hey Dan, in one of your "reserved" spots, can you put the pool of Enfuegoed players available so we don't have to flip back and forth.
Thanks
Thanks

I think you are looking at it the wrong way.
We were voting for or against supplemental rounds. Not on how the rounds would be structured.
It was a yes or no vote, so there was no vote done on how the draft was to be done, just whether or not we would throw the picks of the enfuegoed players away or redraft.
Outside of you and bayoucatfan, I don't think anyone is upset about this. Also, there are a lot of people who like it better this way.

Option 1:
We have 2 supplemental rounds. Available in these rounds will be EVERY selected player on a quitting teams AND everything left in the pool upon draft completion. These will be two additional slots on your roster and don't need to be respective of any positional requirements.
The reason for 2 rounds is because there are only 30 some players drafted not every team would get 2.
To do this draft, I will throw all user names back into a hat and randomly select an entirely new draft order (so as to show no favoritism). The two rounds will be done snake, just as the rest of the draft. So, theoretically, 1st pick gets the "best" player but his 2nd player won't be as spectacular. Last pick gets a lesser "stud" but also gets two similar quality guys.
It's not the best solution, but I think it's the best combination of fairness and fun while also forcing users to actually make a pick.
Dan clearly implied that we would simply pick 2 players without swaping
