Oh, I didnt see he was taken. Im confused now though. If i can pick from teams that quit the draft, I want Jeff Luc.
Yeah, I'm not sure how to organize this.
As for the replacement, what everyone said was that I could take a player of the same position.
My plan was to do a supplemental round where I randomly chose names again to change the draft order. Then, if you wanted to take a player from the pool of players drafted on teams that quit, you'd have to throw back a player as well. But I'm not sure how to do that in fairness. For example, if someone drafted a RB with their last pick and got the 1st supplemental pick. Seems kind of shitty that they could just scoop up Marcus Lattimore.
But if you don't make them do position for position, but only round for round (your first round pick in exchange for a quitter's first round pick) then you have the dilemma of trying to fill roster spots for positions you are lacking etc.

I am just gonna not pick a replacement for now. We can deal with this later. I'm ready to pick right after Hand though.

2. RB Silas Redd
3. WR Da'Rick Rogers
4. WR Kenny Shaw
5. WR Michaelee Harris
6. WR Keiwone Malone
7. TE Randall Telfer

With the 436th pick in the Tiger Droppings Recruiting Board Mock Draft, OBUDan selects:
Alex Kenney, WR
Most of you will probably think I'm stupid for not having a TE, and I probably should, but I'd take any of my 4 receivers over a good TE personally. Ambles is my number 1. Goodwin is a strong number 2 with crazy deep speed and the ability to make people miss in the open field. Travon Van is going to be a hybrid WR/RB in my O. He'll be the Percy Harvin type of my offense and I think he will at Florida too. So Kenney fits nicely as a slot/deep threat (ran a 10.5 100 as sophomore in HS). This kid has speeed to burn, he's a track star. At 6'0, 184 he has decent, but not great size. But he will bulk up without losing much speed. Beyond just the deep speed, this kid is extremely explosive with tremendous start/stop ability. But the other thing I love is that he's not a dancer. He makes one fluid cut and boom, he's upfield and blowing by everybody. He can also return. He also has a nice set of hands and looks good running routes and can really use his speed to create separation on his routes. Overall, this is an explosive guy for my offense. I now feel like I have 4-5 guys that can take it the distance on one play. I love that kind of explosion and a guy like Ambles is big and physical to complement.
eta: Kenney's Tape for anyone interested.
If I had one extra pick, I'd take a TE at the end to play in some formations. If we do a couple supplemental rounds (not the previously drafted guys), I'd take one.

That's one too many skill position players.

You can beef Telfer up to play tackle

Posted on 4/4/10 at 9:22 pm to Hand
I might just do that and run some Tackle-Eligible

Just spit balling for solutions: You have 3 DL and 3 LBers picked (if I counted correctly).
You could run a 3-3-5, switch one of those guys to DB and then be able to pick your allotment of OL.

I think I have two LBers in Terrell and Divitto...am I missing someone?

I had planned on taking Divetto, so this is purely a panic pick.
Suntiger selects Eric Bennett CB out if ArKansas.
May be a tad slow, but looks to have good quickness. May eventually be a saftey, but one of my safetys may become a corner.

No need to hurry if it's that big of a panic.
