Crowbar selects: Trent Spurgeon OT
I'll let Dan take Max. I need to start building my OL up some.

With the 303rd pick of the Tiger Dropping Recruiting Mock Draft, OBUDan selects:
Jalen Fields, DE
At 6'5, 250 pounds, Fields has the frame to add the size necessary to play 3-4 end for me. I really sweat this pick out. I like him for several reasons though namely that he'll probably be playing 3-4 End at Georgia and also had an offer from Bama, which tells me 2 schools that run 3-4s think he can play the position. He's got great get off and a lean, muscular build. He shows pass rush skills but also plays the run well. With Fields and Hailes my DL is anchored pretty well up front. I was looking at a certain LBer, but I'm still not in love with that guy.
QB - Andrew Hendrix
RB - Jordon James
WR - Markeith Ambles
WR -
WR -
WR/TE -
LT - Shon Coleman
LG -
OC
RG -
RT - Andrew Rodriguez
DE - Jalen Fields
NT - Evan Haiels
DE -
OLB/DE - Adrian Hubbard
ILB -
ILB -
OLB/DE - Dakota Royer
CB - Christian Bryant
CB - Demetrius Wright
FS - Demar Dorsey

Not to be weird or anything and not to rat on the guy but I'm really just curious.
What's the story with his chest there? Kinda wrinkly and scarred.

Believe he was taken earlier.
Sure was, I was looking at him on the DE's instead of the DTs.

Dan, I emailed you my next couple picks. I might be around when my picks come up but likely I'll be busy until Sunday morning so I wanted to get those to you soon as I could so as not to hold people up or miss my pick!
MY first choice better damn well be available.

In round 12, I take my favorite pick so far:
A.J. Derby out of Iowa.
Ht:6'4"verified
Wt:218 lbs verified
40:4.88 secs verified
Bench Reps:6 verified
Shuttle:4.5 verified
Vertical:30 inches
Has good height, wide shoulders, long arms and very athletic legs. Basketball keeps him fairly lean so he has no bad body weight. At first glance, he looks like an athletic tight end or even a huge outside linebacker.
Needs to find a position he fits into. Right now, he wants to play quarterback, and he is very inconsistent with his accuracy and release point. Luckily for him, he plays about every position on the field in high school.
He is a very versatile player that could project as a linebacker, safety, tight end, dual-threat quarterback or H-back at the next level. He has very good speed for his size, body control and hands.
He projects all over the field, but I have stated 1,000 times that I love having HS QB's on the defense. I also like having my Mike LB as the captain of the defense, so this is a perfect fit.

frick, Flask!
I was hoping he'd keep sliding because he's semi-positionless. Kid is very, very underrated IMO. Great athlete.

I don't know if he will end up at LB, but the kid was too good not to take. I already have a QB and a TE, so he's an LB in my system.
