I almost didn't pick him because I thought he was going to be off the radar. I'm glad I did.

He wasn't off my radar. Freak athletes should be on everyone's radar.

You were actually the main person I was worried about. I've been eying him for a few rounds. I thought you would have scooped him by now.

So you perceive me as a threat?

Yeah, I just have been trying to do the best I can without devoting too many hours to this project.
Never done a draft like this so I'm kind of feeling my way through the process of evaluating value at a certain round; I'm just trying to fill out the positions that I see most crucial in a certain order with the best guys available at that moment.

crowbar selects: Corey Brown, WR

With the 196th pick in the Tiger Droppings Recruiting Board Mock Draft, OBUDan selects:
Jordon James, RB
Honestly, I'm a bit surprised to see James fall this far. Perhaps some are scared off by UCLA landing another RB, Malcolm Jones, but I think James is the superior prospect. At 5'10, 188 he's a little smaller than an everydown type back, but he has the frame to add 20 good pounds of muscle to take the beating. The exciting thing about James is his explosiveness. He may have the quickest feet of any RB in this class and shows all-purpose back skills with his ability to catch and run. He has outstanding vision and can be very elusive in the open field, often slipping through tackles and illustrating his deceptive strength. He shows the ability to make a big play and while he doesn't have great strength or show great leg drive, he makes up for it with his ability to cut and slip through tackles. He will be a dominant threat in the open field and a player that can make something out of nothing with his great athletic ability.

Suntiger selects Deon Long WR from West Virginia
It's a question of whether or not he will qualify, but what's not questionable is Long's talent at WR. I see Long becoming one of Eugene Smith or Barry Brunetti's favorite targets in what should become a very explosive/pass happy offense after Noel Devine leaves.
This was a tough decision because I have two defensive players in mind, but I think they might both be available next round and I needed a compliment to Trovon Reed on the outside.

Laron Landry? I don't see this.
I have been trying to wait and pick Akuna as long as I could, but after a little bit of a run on OLBs and DE's, I had to pull the t.rigger

I definitly see him as a Laron Landry, Thomas Davis, Greg Blue type of player.
Had I known he was a 4 star on Rivals I would have picked him in round 4 just to be sure.

Guys I may be out of pocket some tomorrow, so if you can try and keep up with the picks and when you are up because I may not be changing the thread title as regularly as I have been.
