C'mon man. A TE the 5th best prospect in the country? Is that legit?

I find it hard to believe that that many OL should be ranked above Boutte based on all of the summer camp reports.

I thought he should, but didnt know if rivals would give him his due after they said they werent gonna put as much stock in the camps as they did in years before. I expect white to gain his 5 star during the post season all american games. Word is he beat 5 star hargreaves on more than one occaison at a camp.

This class is sick. Rettig is underrated and if we can land beckwith and williams and maybe a big surprise, wow.

With the speed he should play DE.

But seriously, I agree. Sounds like WR is the latest talk after camps.

Camp reports said he wasn't that great. He hasn't performed to 5* standards. He's a 4 now.

he should be a 5.8 four star, but it'll never happen.

Haven't kept up with recruiting as much as in the past, but I remember Martellus Bennett being ranked 7th or so at some point when he was a senior. Has any TE ever finished in the top 10?

Swoopes is way overrated. Too many drops and inconsistent play at the Camps to be rated in the Top 50 imo.

TE Howard was getting a LOT of attention at the Camps. Has an NFL body already and he dominated elite level D players in 7-on-7s. Not surprised to see him move up so much, but the #5 prospect in the country is a bit of a shock. Would not have been surprised to see him in the Top 25 though.

Agreed. #5 is a little ridiculous

USC with 13 of their 18 in top 100. I guess Kiffin will be out of excuses soon.

Excuses for not going undefeated every year. They play in the weakest Division of the BCS conferences (none of their opponents are ranked) and a weak out-of-conference schedule. When you play 10-11 tune up games every year and have more 5* and 4* players than anyone in the country, you have no excuse for losing ANY games.

Excuses for what Trojans are truly the best at doing, underachieving -- if you exclude unearned/undeserved bragging.

Stop reading right there.

I'd put the PAC-12 #2 over the Big 10 and Big 12 with the ACC and Big East bringing up the rear.
