Georgia’s commits continue to court Rice. So has the school, a source told Georgia recruiting writer Jeff Sentell. I’ve confirmed as much — that Rice could make his way back into Georgia’s class.

There's a bunch of nothing in that article. That said, we'll have to continue to recruit this guy like he's not committed.

Great article though by speigs and I think and hope we hold on to rice he is a monster but this was the most interesting part

Cam Akers, 5-star RB (Clinton, Miss.) — It’s a race between contenders such as LSU, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Florida State. He’s visited all four and is coming off multiple in-home visits with Orgeron and Juluke. Given the opportunity to play early, LSU is QUIETLY GAINING STEAM in the Akers sweepstakes. The verdict will be in on Dec. 27.

I was under the impression that he already signed his papers to LSU...

No he just committed but it's going to be a roller coaster

A lot of statements in the article seem counter to information flowing on the RB so I'm not sure how much stock to take in what the article states.

You should watch the video at the bottom. Everyone is saying fsu but he is a family guy and doesn't mind leaving Mississippi (he was committed to bama) but he still want to be close to home so I think it's an lsu vs ole miss battle but I could be wrong to

From all that I have read about this Rice kid, he does not seem like the kind to be swayed by other recruits. He sounds like he is all business and is eager to wreck shite in Aranda's system. Unless LSU stops following up with him, he is probably pretty locked in.

Lsu is all over rice. They are staying on top of him. Aranda really, really wants rice in this class. Rice is an EE so it's not even clear Ga. has room. Rice tweeted out yesterday that he was solid to lsu.

Another Ga. Recruiting website admitted that Ga. Recruits were trying to get rice to flip but the website didn't think the Ga. Coaching staff was pushing that hard.

yeah he seems all business so im sure hes looked at ILBers under Aranda and the fact we pretty much have to have him playing next season and realizes LSU is too good to pass up

Why the hell announce 1 month before enrolling in school only to change your mind right before? That would be messed up

Hell, what other powerhouse D-1 program could Rice attend and potentially start Day 1??? And have the best defensive coach in college football?
