Wow thank you so much for the time stamps!

Did they show Tori on bars or beam? I didn’t catch it, if they did.

How would you feel seeing Aleah put a standing Arabian in her beam routine

I love beam Arabians! Besides Rheagan, another LSU girlie who had one was Susan Jackson...I saw her attempt BHS-Arabian at Classics one year..2005 or 2006 iirc

Good news is that she is training it. They are trying to pace Aleah smartly.

There are certain gyms/coaches who produce a lot of elite gymnasts but many burn out and injure themselves because they aren't properly paced.

Caitlin Smith has been back in the gym the last few days. She is working on an Onodi and different mounts. Apparently they want to mix up her beam routine for her last season.

Bunniegene, if you have Instagram, go to @paramountelite Instagram and look at their story. They posted some clips from today if you want to see Caitlin on the beam

All I see is her beam roll, but I’m glad to hear she’s training

I can’t recall the last time I’ve seen one from an LSU gymnast.

You don’t see it much at the NCAA level. It’s valued as an E level skill in college gymnastics

Smiths Onodi looked very good!

Did Finnegan have an Onodi? I vaguely remember reading that she trained one but I know she hasn’t competed it here. In fact I can’t think of any LSU athletes who competed it in college, but I’ve only been following closely since the mid-2000s.

I believe that Alyssa Bauman (Florida) competes an Onodi on beam.

It would be neat to see Caitlin compete the Onodi at LSU...glad to see she is back and working on her skills. Has anyone heard if she will compete L10 or just train for college?

Yes Baumann competes it... the only other one I remember is Taylor Spears from OU...won beam in 2014. I’m sure there are others; it’s a lovely skill when done correctly.

Definitely. She has the body line to make it looks great too

I am not 100% sure but she was suppose to compete level 10 this season but didn't after she dealt with some injuries.

I believe she will be strictly used on beam and bars at LSU. She definitely is a contributor on bars, her feet are great, the handstands are excellent. She has really improved her form since 2016 as an elite. No leg separations either. If she continues to work hard I am excited to see what she will do with us when she comes in. She brings a lot to the table, she has talent.

Wasn't a fan of her coaches in elite, it was all about throwing hard stuff in a routine and very little attention to technique and form. It seemed like going back to level 10 was the correct move

Is Annie Beard going to compete at all this summer? I haven’t heard anything about her this year with attending camps or competitions.

She is still training as of now, saw her recently

The secret classic is coming up this month, I would imagine she would compete to qualify to nationals like she did last year

Good to hear. I was hoping she wasn’t battling an injury. Hope to see her at Classics.

Ferrer looking LSU ready ;)

Very well could be Myia replacement on bars next season. She has been working her arse off this summer. She looks great

Ferrer could easily see herself in 3 of the 4 lineups next season

She definitely will be on vault and likely on floor

I will go out on a bold prediction and say she will earn all American honors on vault her freshman season. I saw her vaulting the other week and was nailed vault after vault, 10.0 vaults

I agree!I love Bay's excitement and charisma over being a LSU Tiger. She will be an asset to the team. She has a superb vault.

Doesn't Mckenna train the same vault as Bay and Hailey? We should have some great vaulters over the next couple of years.

Yes although Bailey trains multiple vaults still including a yurchenko one. They all compete/train vaults from the same family

One thing that stands out to me about Ferrer recently is her feet. The footwork is a thousand times better. That’s why in my opinion she will definitely be a favorite to win a bars spot. Her handstands are great, little to no elbow bend, natural swing, feet are great, plus her consistency, and the double layout (E skill) is money!

Excited to see her develop on beam which is the event she needs the most work. She has a great foundation but needs to limit the knee bend on certain skills

Bringing Ferrer in a year early was smart to do
