Recruits for LSU/Arkansas

This is going to be yet another extremely huge, high profile game for our fighting tigers...and in all honesty this is going to be the best game in Tiger Stadium that we've had all year (even despite the fact that it's not a night game) that will allow us to showcase our premier fanbase and game day atmosphere. So with that being said, I see no reason why LSU can't have just as many top recruits as there was for LSU/Bama~
So does the list of recruits who are visiting LSU this weekend come close to that from The Game of the Century?

I know what you are trying to say, but look at the facts:
-Friday game during the day
-During the holidays
-During high school playoff time (many big name players still playing)
-much less hype for the game
Throw all that together and you get a lot smaller turnout. It's nothing more than that - relax.

I doubt it, the amount of pub that game got for 2 weeks far outweighs any this game has gotten. Plus Bama recruits on a different stratosphere as Ark. More prospects are interested in a bama game with LSU than an ark game with LSU. It will prolly be LSUs biggest weekend so far though

Gunner Kiel is the rumored big name.
David Perkins was going to visit, but like mentioned, his team is still in their playoffs so he will have to reschedule (which I don't think will matter)

No it doesn't come close and it doesn't need to. At least the 2012 list won't be amazing. We only have a few spots left and there are only a few people who are taking officials visits before the season is over. We will still have a great class.

I think he likes the fact that we're the #1 team in the country...but he's not coming all the way down here.
