We never fish beetles, but DOA makes this fluke looking bait, I fished rootbeer with chartuese tail and did really well.

I tried a few different ones and never got a hit. What are a few colors I should try? I'm all about buying bait. We went tobass pro last week and I bought for $340, mostly baits. I have to go back now and get more of what i caught on last week. We do fish the deadly dudley shrimp in chartruese.
