Do the past 2 Big 12 title games count?

No.

Or Texas last year?

Probably not, because OU is in a weak conference, right?

No, because up until this year, your conference has consisted of 2-3 legitimate threats to win the conference.

And because UT blew donkey choad last year.

Running it up?

Yes. Running it up. Did he stutter?

quote:

I guess OU should just shut it down and put the backups in after they drop 35 in 1st quarter.

Well, if I was a recruit, I would like to know that once we've hung 50 on Baylor when I'm a freshmen, I might see some playing time...rather than going to a school where I know they're going to keep the 1st string in until they score 70.

Yes, OU has sucked in bowl games recently

Understatement of the decade.

What is Bob Stoops' BCS bowl game record???

quote:

Beat downs by 7 points, my favorite.

I disagree with calling that game a beatdown FWIW. It was a very good game.

quote:

What did you call the LSU-FLA game this year?

A beatdown.

FWIW, UF would hang 60 on OU.

quote:

Yeah, that was disappointing. Happens to everybody at some point.

So everyone....after being dubbed the best team of all time....gets beat 35-7 in a title game against a team they should have stomped with a chance to go to the BCS title on the line???

Delusion in full effect. You sure you're not a gump?????

quote:

And Les Miles is an idiot

Who beat Bob Stoops twice and has as many BCS bowl game wins (no...arse-rapings) in 3 years that Bob Poops has in a decade.

Also, he pwned Poops and the Sooners twice while in the Big XII.

...with a far less talented team.

What a dumbass, huh?

Uber-fail.

hopefully they use him more than the last 5 star receiver they got.

Toliver was like a popsicle stick when he got here, he wasn't ready to hold up and play a lot and in some regards he still isn't.

Randle on the other hand is a big guy, physically ready for the type of play he'll see in the SEC. He can still get bigger and increase his conditioning but he'll be far more ready to contribute immediately.

He'll get the chance too, we have 1 starting WR returning with Byrd leaving and Mitchell widely expected to concentrate on baseball.

Ok, so beating the #1 team in the country at a neutral site in a conference championship game was not a big game? Let's not forget that without OU winning that game, LSU would have taken their 2 losses straight to the Sugar Bowl, still don't think it was a big game?

And as far as 2-3 threats to win a conference, I'm pretty sure that Georgia, Florida and LSU have combined to win the last 7 out of 8 SEC titles.

With the way OU has played in Bowl Games recently I wouldn't be that surprised if they did drop 60 against OU. They seem to have the best team this year and barring a major choke they should win the title.

I just meant every one gets beat down once in a while, of course usually not quite in that same fashion, but nonetheless no one is perfect.

Yes, he has beaten Stoops twice out of 5 tries, mostly because OU is Okie State's personal Super Bowl. That is one of the reasons why everyone is getting so ahead of themselves talking about the Big 12 tiebreaker scenarios, because OU still has to go into Stillwater next week and win. That game personally worries me more than the TT game.

And as far as "Bob Poops", what are you, like 5 years old?

OU has just a good of a shot as anyone at this point because nobody knows who hes leaning to, not even his own family. So does OU have a shot? Yes. But one would think with recent things going on, LSU/Bama are the teams to beat.

Who knows, maybe he'll visit and immediately announce OU as his favorite, that would really burn some asses on here for people saying they have no shot

You make a good argument and OU makes a heck of a lot more sense than Bama. Didn't know Bradford was seriously considering jumping.

He has "said" he is coming back, but if/when he is projected to be a top 5 or top 10 draft pick after the season, I wouldn't blame him for declaring.
