I have to believe that will have some effect on his decision. The kid could realistically be our #2 next year from day one with the potential to be the #1 by mid-season if he's all everyone says he suppose to be. COME ON DOWN MR. RANDLE!!!

The true response to RR is :

LSU has major talent at WR waiting to get a spot..

an honest conversation is a bit along these lines. "I think your good enough to win a starting job at some point, but that up to you.. No promises, LSU plays the best players, if your one of best WR, you will play, if not, no.. Knowing what to do is half the battle, not talent all by itself.

BAMA probably has more opportunity, so does UM and OU I am not sure, and with Bradfold gone sooner than later, not a good choice. Big game bob is 0-5 in BSC. That isn't good at all...it tells me the competition in the Big 12 is fairly easy. The bowl games were very telling

It comes down to "how bad do you want to compete?"

Seems pretty clear that playing with a viable quarterback rather than a viable receiver is more important to a receivers development. Would you rather have some guy at Bama that hasn't taken a meaningful snap or have GayJ run out of bounds on 4th down while complaining about his small carney hands not gripping the ball properly or would you like to play for a young quarterback that has done nothing but improve by leaps and bounds in his four outings?

And let's not forget repping your home state. I can imagine Saban is telling kids in Alabama that repping your homestate is important just like he did here at LSU.

Please do not apply to be a recruiting coordinator at LSU. You won't sign anyone with this honesty crap.

With all that talent on offense he never threw for more than 145 yards. People act like he's throwing for 300 a game.

Improvement was the key word. You think that number won't increase? We're not Alabama where we have a three year starter and senior leading our offense and one of the best receivers in the country and throwing to Nick Walker 50% of the time. You think that is going to change with McElroy or GayJ carnival hands? And who knows what will happen with Jackson.

There's no room for logic here.

Is it logical to deduce that he will throw for more yards in the future? Is it logical to assume that Alabama won't? Yes on both fronts.

If Jackson is their guy next year the Gumps are fricked. As for the yds JJ put up in TWO games. I do believe we also put up 30 points each time so that means his numbers are very productive yards. Not to mention the kid is just a playmaker.

I know the guy hasn't played a single down, but you have to consider the impact of Shep and the probable return of Charles Scott and Ciron Black. With a strong line. a power back who can take it to the house at any given time and a Percy Harvin type in the backfield as a wildcard, opponents will be hard pressed to stop the run. That opens things up for the passing game. Coach Crowton should have a perpetual hard-on just thinking about all of the ways that this team will be able to score!!! And, as I've said before, if the defense is even marginally better, the offense should get more opportunities with the football.

Who wouldn't want the opportunity to be "the guy" at WR in that kind of an offense?!
