He was talking about Stephen Rivers, not Dak.

No way in hell that kid is 6'4, 240lbs...huge misprint.
He's a big kid. The 240lbs. number might be a little off (not by much,) but he's every single bit of 6' 4".

Patterson to be in town this week for full court press on Prescott. This sounds like a better fit. Think about it, a small school that is 3 hours from home. They are in a BCS conference that should be easy to dominate for the next few years. Senior quarterback this year with only soph and RS fresh behind him to compete with.
No telling who else will come in the next few weeks. 40 TDS, and 3 ints gets some attn.

He was at the Alabama game, though it was NOT an official visit. Ran into Rodney(coach), Gene(principal), with Dak and several other players and teachers in tow.
Had LSU moved earlier on Dak, we would have a better chance. From what I hear he really likes State (Mullin decision may change that). He was offered yesterday at school, the players I talked to enjoyed the visit by Miles and were impressed he took time to talk with the team, not just meet with Dak

This is a move to load up on QBs for LM. Hopefully, he has learned from his previous mistakes. Thankfully, Mett is a Juco guy we can get. Otherwise, LSU would be screwed at QB another few years. I don't get why Mett would go to Arky. That, IMO, is a lame argument. They have the next Mallett already there, Tyler Wilson. Wilson has been there since 08 learning and played great when Mallett was injured and will start for the next 2 seasons. It's LSU or A&M for Mett and A&M found the future mid season. LSU is the most logical choice.

His numbers this year are definitely enough to get a good bit of attention... He lit everyone up, even when hurt

Are you referring to A&M QB Tannehil? Correct me if I'm wrong but will he not be a senior next year? If so, no more future there than at LSU.
