I don't think PP will leave early do you? I think it's a rare case that LSU players go early.

as rare as top-shelf corner prospects are, I would normally disagree

but I also get the feeling that he might be a better Free Safety prospect. Of course, watching how poorly our Safetys have gotten in coverage it makes you want a FS with great coverage skills and pass instincts

jack hunt played the pass pretty well

steltz did fine as an upper classman

we haven't had the void that we have now... between our Safetys and Linebackers, they can't cover shite

Hopefully Loston can be our next Reggie Nelson. Janzen is a perfect fit for our nickel back, probably more so than anyone on the current roster.

Not arguing that he wouldn't be a great FS though.

no fricking way

most of the big plays given up in the passing game last year were on steltz

last year we weren't exactly lighting it up once we played teams with non-horrible QBs

at least he was around the ball when it was in the air, which are instincts our current Safetys don't have

Janzen will get playing time at Nickel next year. Miles likes physical guys at nickel and if you have seen his film then you know Janzen is as physical as any corner in the nation.

Whoever thinks he won't see the field for two years is blind, regardless of depth.

I really believe JJ is a top 25 player in the nation. Very underrated even at his current position.

I think he'll be some kind of hybrid. You know, that thing that McCray was supposed to be. I don't think Jackson will be a great cover corner in college, but he could be GREAT if used the right way. Yes, I meant GREAT.

Again..this is a College recruiting board. This is not an NFL playstation board. There is a More Sports Board on TD.com for all your Pay-for-play junk.

Craig Steltz was a 1st team consensus All-American at Safety & 1st Team All-SEC for LSU in 2007.
