Davis is a freak at DE and I don't think they should move him to OLB like some people are thinking. He has the frame to put on as much weight as needed, elite SEC speed and good hip bend that really allows him to excel in beating OT's off the edge and pressuring the QB. He is the second coming of Brian Orakpo (DE out of Texas a couple years ago). And he'll make a good living pressuring the QB in the NFL just like Orakpo has and will.

Davis' body type looks like he can be an ideal pass rushing DE in college and get drafted by a 3-4 team to play OLB.

In ur opinion how do you feel he does against the pass? Quick first step, gets off the snap fast, uses hands well, any repertoire of pass moves, etc.
Speed rusher off the edge with a lightning quick leap to block passes.

How about against the run? Sets the edge and keeps contain, fights off blocks good, slides down the line of scrimmage well, wraps up while tackling, can he handle double teams, etc.
No one knows really since he had Chucky Hunter drawing double/triple teams all year. This is typical at WM. Usually their will be 1-2 studs each year who draw double teams. Then there will be a sophomore/junior that steps up and leads the team in tackles. Mingo begat Jordan Allen who begat Chucky Hunter who begat Lathan/McFarland.

I wish we could have had enough room for Chucky Hunter
. I really thought he could become a solid player at LSU.
