Randle's parents did go with him this weekend. I read he only spent a little time with them and then went with shep and scott. His parents visited the Cox Athletic Building and other facilities and were highlty impressed. Randle said his visit was to get to know the other recruits better and to feel comfortable. Looks good for us.

Well, from what I heard, since the visit at home and the bowl game, LSU has been the team to beat for RR. Not a coincidence around that time, the vibe from Bama/OU fans started declining.

There is an article linked from cbssports at MaxPrep that states RR has only visited Bama twice. I understand that to be false and it is irritating to me when folks print misinformation.
Just neaded to clearify that point as I thought in one of RR's own quotes he liked his second visit to LSU better due to being able to get to know some of the players, unlike during game time when he could not talk to them so much.
Can someone help me with this issue?
Thanks

Your first statement is hypothetical at best and at worst makes you sound like someone other than RR is your favorite.Go to THAT thread.

I'm not saying anything negative about RR! He is a great WR and the top talent in the country but 1 WR no matter how great they are would not save a program if the program actually needs saving. You would need more than 1 WR to save a program. My main gripe with the poster is that it's fricking ridiculous to think that LSU is a program that needs a savior. LSU is one of the top programs in the country. We need RR to come here to help us win a couple of National Championships not get us back on the right track.

And as far as a program not being saved by a WR, Julio did just that at Bama. Without Julio Bama would have been an average team at best.
Without anyone to throw to him now, Bama struggles mightly next year. Keep this post all you Gumps, for when next year is over, if you like.

I disagree. He is great but they would have been very good without him. They had the number 1 ranked total defense in the SEC. Number 1 ranked pass D. 2nd best running back in the SEC. Best oline in the SEC and even with Julio they were 9th out of 12 teams in the SEC in Passing Offense. Like I said, julio is great and probably one of if not the best reciever in the country but overall reciever is the most overrated position on the field, IMO.

Anyway don't want to get the thread OT so
and come to LSU RR!

Man, all of this RR fervor is starting to remind me of the Damien James recruitment. Course those were a little more desperate times than now.

He hasn't even made his mind up, and it's widely known that he's not doing it for attention.

Oh, I knew he wouldn't be doing it for attention. I don't even know why I asked.
I just can't wait until next Wednesday!

You gestapo pricks have a lot of nerve to pretend to speak for everyone on this board. Nothing was said about the recruit as a person. It's not a stretch to say that LSU will not live or die by the signing of one 18 yr. old kid. So what if a poster does happen to think other recruits are more important than Randle? Which in this case, was not the case at all, by the way.
Do us a favor. Quit preaching, proselytizing and insulting. If you have information to add, nut up and post it. If you have an opinion that's on your mind that you think hasn't been expressed before, throw it out here. Don't act like you're a recruiter by monitoring this board

I was gonna drop a hammer on your arse, but Texastiger22 said it better than I could have. You're a dumbass if you think Julio was the only reason we were good this year.

I'm not speaking for everyone here..just the people smart enough to know not to speak negative stuff about RR when his family reads this board and NSD is less than a week away.
Apparently that isnt you.
RR commiting to LSU means way more to me than your pathetic opinion.
So do me a favor and GFY

i think a lot of people are getting their hopes up way too soon! i just find it a little scary that everything you read about Randle points to him signing with lsu....the thing is he hasnt yet and until he does im not convinced....i just keep replaying in my head last year when fricking mcknight pulled out that damn USC cap. Never trust an 18 year old in the spot light is all im saying.

Hopefully his parents read your comments.

Come here talking BS like every LSU recruit will switch their commitment..Go back to your fairytale land where Saban really DOESNT yell at players like they are garbage...
That being said..I'm glad we have Coach Miles here..He is a class act and some players and their families like that.
