He'd be a 5* DE/LB if he didnt tear his ACL his junior year, he's a ILB in georgia's 3-4, he's an absolute steal here and a guy I've been wanting this entire draft. He's being talked about as starting as a true freshman next year. I love the fact that he's an Early Enrollee. he held offers from Georgia, Florida State, Michigan, UNC, Moo State, Ole Miss, USCw, Tennessee. While also gaining serious interest from Alabama & Florida. This kid will wreck havok in the SEC and schools will regret for over looking him after his injury.

I have the same attitude. I haven't picked an LSU player in 3 years for that reason. Plus the majority of them come off the board 2-5 rounds before they would have if they had gone elsewhere. Pagano is a case in point - if he picked LSU he would have gone in round 4-5, probably. Boutte and Smith were picked too early this draft, as another example, I think. Still love the players, but I'm biased too

I saw Georgia LB and I was like what the frick I expected him not to be taken yet he's one of my top 5 favorite players in this class, this next guy is above denson on my board and the #1 prospect for me, in terms of skill set, chances of PT, system fit, potential of his team.

He's really athletic, which is surprising for how huge he is. His build reminds me exactly of Terrell Suggs. Obviously Suggs is amazing and I'm not comparing their abilities, but he looks like a lot like him.

I've definitely noticed that. I have a spreadsheet with my rankings of the top 400 players and whenever someone looks like they were picked really early, almost every time it says LSU next to their name

The ones that have been drafted are pretty highly rated, so I'm not too surprised. The one that caught me off guard was Jermaine Kelly. He's a stud, but I didn't expect him to go that early just because I didn't think anybody here would know about him. I was hoping he would fly under the radar and I could pick him up a round or two after he was actually picked.

I think so far there's been Jermaine Kelly, Joe Mathis, Damore'ea Stringfellow, Elijah Qualls, and Troy Williams who are all 4 stars. There's one guy who I'm really surprised hasn't been picked yet. At least 4 more UW players will get picked, but probably 1 or 2 more than that.
