Number of transfers per recruiting class.

Good teams are built through high school and supplemented in the portal.

But here are what the numbers look like in the past 4 years. Given this was because of the coaching and culture change, but this could be reflection on how many kids we keep in this class.

2019: 14
2020: 17
2021: 10
2022: 6

Possibly on average 10 of these kids will transfer. Mostly because they won’t see the field. So don’t get too upset if we don’t sign a top 5 class. As long as the class is top heavy with impact kids along with good potential hidden gems who want to develop, we should be good. Also look to see that ‘22 number increase through the next few years.

I mean Kelly basically came out and said he's going to use the portal to supplement the team he inherited until his recruiting classes started to come in.

He will continue to do this too. Look how FSU did their group this year.

I just wonder if these kids coming in know in the back of their mind this might not be their last stop?
